About Mecra

Mecra grew out of a workflow built to run real YouTube channels every day. Today we are turning that same workflow into a Windows app for anyone who wants to grow their own channel.

What is Mecra?

Mecra is a Windows desktop app that runs a YouTube channel end to end: it finds topics, writes and fact-checks the script, builds the video, uploads it to YouTube and tracks the results. The word "mecra" means the bed of a stream; our aim is to turn the repetitive part of channel work into a system that flows in your channel's own bed.

Our story

Mecra was born from a workflow set up to produce and publish YouTube channels on a daily schedule: topic research, script, fact-checking, visuals, voice, editing and upload were too repetitive to do by hand. We put those steps together, used them on our own channels and finally turned them into an app other people can use too. The screens you see on this site come from real channels managed with Mecra.

How we work

  • Honesty. We don't promise views, subscribers or income. We publish what we haven't done yet as an open list in the Trust center.
  • Privacy. Your keys and channel data stay on your computer; our website uses no analytics or tracking cookies.
  • Accuracy. AI scripts are grounded in Wikipedia and go through a separate fact-check; a script that fails never becomes a video.
  • Policy compliance. We don't produce fake engagement, bulk accounts or spam. We care about variety and quality control to stay within platform policies.
  • You stay in control. Topic, tone, publishing times and the final decision are yours; you can trigger everything by hand.
