MecraThis English text is a translation of the Turkish Kullanım Koşulları. If the two differ, the Turkish version prevails.
These terms govern the use of the Mecra desktop app (the "App") provided by Barış Özsoy (sole proprietorship). By downloading or using the App you accept these terms.
1. License
For the duration of the plan you purchase you are granted a limited, non-transferable right to use the App for personal or commercial purposes on 1 or 2 devices, depending on your plan. The App is licensed to you, not sold.
2. Free trial
New installations are entitled to a free trial of 7 days from first run and at most 5 videos. During the trial, produced videos carry a watermark and automatic upload is disabled.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the content of the videos you produce and for their compliance with the terms of YouTube and other platforms. Mecra is a tool that uses the API keys you enter and the accounts you connect on your behalf; it is not a publisher of content.
4. Third-party services
The App calls third-party services such as Google (Gemini, YouTube), Pexels and Wikimedia with your own API keys. You are bound by those services' terms of use and quota or pricing policies.
5. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is". A fact-check is performed to improve the accuracy of produced content, but it is not guaranteed to be error-free. Acceptance to the YouTube Partner Program, earning income or any particular number of views is not guaranteed.
6. Termination
Your license may be cancelled if you share your license key with third parties or exceed the permitted number of devices.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For purchases made as a consumer, disputes below the value announced by the Ministry of Trade are handled by the Consumer Arbitration Committee in the consumer's place of residence, and disputes above it by the Consumer Court in the place of residence of the consumer or the seller, as required by law.
