In short: mecrastudio.com uses no cookies to track visitors or show ads. The site itself does not place a single tracking, analytics or advertising cookie in your browser. Below we explain what that means and what happens when you sign in.
1. When you sign in: browser session storage, not a cookie
When you sign in to the My account page, your session is remembered using your browser's local memory called sessionStorage, not a cookie. The difference matters:
- This information stays only in your browser and is not sent to the server automatically with every request (unlike cookies).
- It is deleted automatically when you close the tab; it is not a persistent session cookie.
- It is used only to keep your session open; it is not used for advertising, tracking or analytics and is not sent anywhere except our own servers.
2. Other information kept in your browser
- Announcement bar preference (
localStorage): when you dismiss the announcement at the top of a page, the announcement's ID is stored in your browser so it isn't shown again. It is not sent to the server and does not identify you. - Page cache (service worker): on the My account page, the site's static files (fonts, styles, images) may be kept in the browser cache for fast loading. It contains no personal data; you can clear it in your browser settings.
- Language preference: if you choose a language on the site, that choice may be remembered in your browser.
3. Third-party services
The site's fonts, styles, images and scripts load from our own server; no requests are sent to third-party servers when you view pages. The only exceptions:
- Lemon Squeezy: only when you are redirected to the payment page to buy a plan; that page is no longer our site and its own cookie and privacy policy applies (Lemon Squeezy privacy policy).
- Google: only when you press "Sign in with Google" and are redirected to Google's sign-in page; Google's own cookies apply there (Google privacy policy).
With bank-transfer payment you are not sent to any third-party payment page, so no extra cookies are created.
4. Your browser settings
You can delete or block cookies, site data and the cache in your browser settings at any time. This does not affect the site's basic functions (signing in, buying); it may only have small effects such as the announcement bar reappearing.
